The Generation 3 8to5 Energy Saver™ converts existing T12 & T8 fluorescent fittings to high efficiency T5 lighting systems!
The 8to5 Energy Saver™ is a high frequency Electronic Control Gear, (ECG), which allows you to change your inefficient and outdated T8 and T12 fluorescent lamps to the new, energy saving and environmentally friendly T5 fluorescent lamp with the need to change the existing fitting.
Simple and easy installation of the 8to5 Energy Saver™ into older style T8 or T12 fittings enables energy saving T5 fluorescent lamps to be installed and used immediately with up to 55% energy savings, improved light output, lower maintenance costs and very real recycling and CO2 benefits for the environment.

The T5 is a very efficient sleek 16mm light tube, providing excellent light output with a lifespan of over 20,000 hours and energy savings of up to 55%. It is environmentally friendly, containing 38% less glass with only a little mercury compared to the older tubes.
