This is a Mechanical Electrical and Controls installation role for an Electrician. Â The successful candidate will be responsible for Mechanical Electrical (ME) and BMS Controls Installations, as well as site coordination with other Mechanical contractors and stakeholders. The role will require multiple installations at any one time.Â

Your responsibilities:

Installation of ME and BMS controls, point-to-point testing, generating Test reports and pre-commissioning.

Interpret project documentation, i.e. schematics, points lists, user guides, mechanical plans, etc.

Handle day-to-day site requests and customer issues.

Manage client expectations and communications during installation & commissioning.

Ability to work across multiple sites.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:

2+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical-electrical work

Hold a current NSW Electrical Licence

Strong problem-solving ability and sound analytical thinking

Clear and professional verbal communication skills
-
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels

Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload efficiently on site
-
Able to work effectively with colleagues across all site conditions
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under time pressure
-
Willingness to work nights and weekends when required (penalty rates, allowances, and overtime apply)

Must be legally authorised to work in Australia - Australian citizenship or permanent residency required

Current NSW driver's licence with willingness to travel to client sites across Greater Sydney

Professional working fluency in English

Desirable Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:

Experience with building automation and control systems (BAS/BMS)

Knowledge of contracting procedures and commercial realities.

Experience in HVAC electrical work and BMS installation
-
EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Licence
-
Cablers Licence
