Electrical Apprentice

​Integrata Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based independent and well-established business in the commercial BMS and Mechanical Electrical markets, specialising in building automation systems, HVAC mechanical electrical upgrades and retrofits, and energy solutions. Integrata is a Schneider EcoXpert partner and a Distech partner, as well as a preferred installer of BMS systems for Honeywell, Johnson Controls, and others.
 

Job description: 

We're looking for a motivated 1st- or 2nd-year electrical apprentice with an interest in technology and how buildings work to join our small team on a full-time, permanent basis.

​

You'll be trained across electrical, building automation, data, energy metering, and HVAC work, covering both construction and service environments. One day a week you'll attend TAFE to complete your Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician), backed up by in-house training in building automation systems and controls technology.

​

While we specialise in automation and HVAC controls, you'll also get broad general electrical exposure across a wide range of environments, from commercial towers and data centres to hospitals and retail centres.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Installing cable trays, junction boxes, and minor electrical equipment

  • Running and terminating electrical cables

  • Assisting with commissioning and checking installations

  • Supporting fault-finding and testing activities


 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:

  • Minimum Year 10 education or equivalent

  • A genuine interest in electrical systems, technology, and how buildings work

  • Current White Card

  • Willingness to learn and attention to detail

  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

  • Current driver's licence, or the ability to obtain one within your first year

  • Willingness to work nights and weekends when required (penalty rates, allowances and overtime apply)

  • Full working rights in Australia (citizenship or permanent residency required)

Desirable Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:

  • ​​​Prior exposure to electrical or trade environments

  • Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
