Job description:Â
We're looking for a motivated 1st- or 2nd-year electrical apprentice with an interest in technology and how buildings work to join our small team on a full-time, permanent basis.
​
You'll be trained across electrical, building automation, data, energy metering, and HVAC work, covering both construction and service environments. One day a week you'll attend TAFE to complete your Certificate III in Electrotechnology (Electrician), backed up by in-house training in building automation systems and controls technology.
​
While we specialise in automation and HVAC controls, you'll also get broad general electrical exposure across a wide range of environments, from commercial towers and data centres to hospitals and retail centres.

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Installing cable trays, junction boxes, and minor electrical equipment

Running and terminating electrical cables

Assisting with commissioning and checking installations

Supporting fault-finding and testing activities

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills:

Minimum Year 10 education or equivalent
-
A genuine interest in electrical systems, technology, and how buildings work

Current White Card
-
Willingness to learn and attention to detail
-
Clear written and verbal communication skills
-
Current driver's licence, or the ability to obtain one within your first year

Willingness to work nights and weekends when required (penalty rates, allowances and overtime apply)

Full working rights in Australia (citizenship or permanent residency required)
